The scheme covers services for the investigation of possible damage from mine subsidence and other services required during the claim assessment process.

This scheme is not a procurement list as defined by the Enforceable Procurement Provision direction. Any engagements over $657,000 need to be run as an open tender.

The scheme has been established as part of reforms to Subsidence Advisory NSW's governing legislation and operating framework.

Claims assessment and other associated services are now outsourced. Private sector service providers:

  • investigate claims for possible damage from mine subsidence
  • provide other claims assessment functions.

The scheme provides simple access for NSW Government buyers and industry vendors. It promotes increased competitiveness to enable agencies to obtain better value for money.

Approved suppliers

To find the right suppliers for your needs, you can search the scheme supplier list.

If you’re logged in with your buyer account, you'll have full access to a supplier’s profile.

If you don't have a buyer account, it's quick to sign up. You just need to enter your email address and create a password.

Alternatively, you can request a copy of the list by emailing subsidenceaccounts@customerservice.nsw.gov.au

Buy through etendering

Buyers can access the scheme through etendering. It allows buyers to:

  • download supplier lists
  • create and issue requests for quotes/proposals
  • award contracts online.

Etendering training is available for agencies.

To get access to eTendering, please contact your agency's etendering administrator.

If your organisation does not have access and you need urgent access to supplier lists, please email the NSW Procurement Service Centre at nswbuy@treasury.nsw.gov.au

Engage a supplier

Once you have selected an appropriate service provider, you need the order to engage them.

To do this:

  1. Complete the appropriate SA NSW short form standard form of agreement SA NSW short form agreement DOCX, 1101.73 KB.
  2. Issue a purchase order with a special condition that states “under the terms and conditions of the SCM4721 agreement terms and conditions".

After the supplier has completed services, we need to measure their performance.

Evaluate supplier performance

We recommend that you complete a supplier performance survey for each engaged supplier at the completion of an engagement.

The individual project manager is responsible for the submission of the report at the completion of the engagement. This must be provided to subsidenceaccounts@customerservice.nsw.gov.au

Performance reporting ensures continuous improvement and identifies and resolves any project issues.

How to apply

The scheme is open and suppliers can apply at any time.

Before applying, view the scheme guidelines and conditions:

Suppliers can apply for regions and work categories that match their area of expertise.  This provides opportunities for small to medium-size businesses, particularly in regional areas, to qualify for the scheme.

  1. Log in with your supplier account. If you don’t have one yet, you can sign up now.
  2. Start an application to join the scheme. You’ll need to answer questions and upload required documents.
  3. Submit your application.

Applicants will be notified of an outcome within a few weeks of their submission.

How to update your details

  1. Log in with your supplier account.
  2. From the profile icon, select My account.
  3. Edit your business details, then save.

How to manage requests for quote

Buyers may invite suppliers on the scheme to quote. They will then evaluate responses they receive and notify suppliers accordingly.

How to provide feedback

Feedback on the scheme may be provided at any time.
