What you need to know

We’re committed to improving gender equality

It’s a priority of NSW Government to improve the gender equality of our supply chain. Increasing women’s economic opportunities benefits women, families, and the economy.

Lifting the rate of women’s paid workforce participation to equal men’s over the next 20 years would increase employment growth and lead to an NSW economy that is 8% larger by 2061; the equivalent of increasing household income by $22,000 (in 2019–20 dollars).

We highlight gender-equitable suppliers

Suppliers with the 'verified gender-equitable' business identifier hold the Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation from the Commonwealth’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA).

Become a verified gender-equitable supplier

The Commonwealth’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) manages the Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation program.

The 2-year citation is available to businesses with at least 100 employees who demonstrate an active commitment to workplace gender equality. Applications open once a year.

Suppliers with the citation will automatically be tagged on Supplier Hub. The ABN on your Supplier Hub profile must match the ABN on the Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation.
