The Mini Minor Works (MMW) standard form is provided to help NSW Government agencies to document and manage simple construction contracts with an estimated value of up to $250,000 or less for engagements under the General Construction Works Valued up to $1 Million Scheme (SCM0256).

General

  • Formatting adjustments, guidance improvements and minor corrections carried out.
  • Suggestions for improvements and feedback on changes are encouraged.


Conditions of tendering

  • Clause T9. Clause amended to include express prohibition of collusion.

Tender schedules

  • Schedule of Rates.  Text amended to clarify that inclusion of overheads and profit in rates and lump sums is Tenderer’s responsibility.


General conditions of contract

  • Clause 8.  Clause amended to require Contractor to provide copies of insurance policies if requested.


Contract information

  • Item 2.  Guidance on naming the Principal for NSW Government agencies amended as per legal advice.
  • Item 3.  Guidenotes amended for consistency to include option for Principal Arranged Insurance (PAI) through iCare in addition to the use of another broker selected by the principal.


Contract schedules

  • Supporting Statement and Subcontractor’s Statement.  Notes amended to replace reference to Fair Trading with Building Commission as regulator of SoPA. Revision Date for Supporting Statement added.
  • Environmental Management Plan. General references to sustainability management and the net Zero Government Operations Policy added
