Suppliers can now get police checks via the Australian Federal Police or the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission.

NSW Procurement has extended the whole-of-government Employment Checks Contract (contract 0011) for 12 months until 31 May 2023.

The contract now allows approved suppliers to procure Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Checks (NCCHC), also known as police checks, via the Australian Federal Police.

This is in addition to the current pathway of procuring police checks via the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC).

New suppliers added to Contract 0011 Employment Checks

Equifax Australasia Workforce Solutions Pty Ltd and First Advantage Australia Pty Ltd added to Contract 0011.

In addition to Sterling RISQ, Equifax Australasia Workforce Solutions Pty Ltd and First Advantage Australia Pty Ltd have been added to Contract 0011 Employment Checks. This is effective 10 August 2020.

The contract offers employment screening checks for all agency staff.

The head agreement is managed by NSW Procurement.

Agencies/clusters engage suppliers under a customer contract and order form.

Managed service providers (MSPs) will manage customer contracts for those agencies/clusters under Contractor Central.

New supplier awarded Contract 0011 Employment Checks

AIM Screening Pty Ltd (trading as Sterling RISQ Group) is the new supplier on this whole-of-government contract.

Contract 0011 Employment Checks is a whole-of-government, mandated arrangement. It began on 1 June 2019 for an initial term of 3 years. It has 2 extension options of up to 12 months each.

This contract delivers a consistent method for employment screening checks. It can be used for all staff, whether they are ongoing, fix term, contingent and others.
