What you need to know
Homes NSW is leading a program to demonstrate how modern methods of construction (MMC) can create more social, affordable and key worker homes.
We're committed to delivering these homes quickly, with great quality, high volume and value for money benefits, with a focus on learnings and improving tenant outcomes.
Homes NSW is working closely with the Building Commission NSW to lead the work on a building act for the entire sector.
This act will update and streamline building laws across NSW. This work will ensure that all homes built, regardless of location, meet compliance, safety and reliability standards.
- financial checks are not required at time of application for procurement list inclusion.
- evidence of Public Liability and Workers Compensation insurances will be required.
Key benefits
The procurement list provides an opportunity for suppliers of MMC products to:
- showcase capability and product innovation
- access tenders for the supply of products for homes only and/or installation and/or site works
- support the delivery of more homes sooner.
