Transport for NSW, as lead agency on behalf of government, has established the new NSW Government Legal Services Panel (2021/001).
The panel provides agencies with a broad range of legal services and legal support services in 30 areas of law, grouped in 7 sub-panels:
- construction
- commercial
- property, planning, environmental
- employment, WHS
- government, regulatory, administrative
- litigation, inquiries
- legal support services.
What this means for buyers
NSW Government agencies can no longer use the previous Legal Services Panel (2015/068), which expired on 30 June 2021.
NSW Government Agencies are responsible for managing the transition of existing legal matters to the panel. The Agency Contract Manager for each Agency/Cluster will manage this with the respective firm.

Transport for NSW, as lead agency, on behalf of the government, managed an open tender process and selected 53 organisations for this panel. The initial term is 3 years, with 2 further options of 3 years each.
