Changes to the ICT Services Scheme
Updated: 27 Nov 2020

The scheme rules have been updated for compliance with the Enforceable Procurement Provisions (EPP) Direction.

The Department of Customer Services has reviewed the ICT Services Scheme (SCM0020) and established a procurement list. The procurement list provides a procurement pathway that is compliant with PBD 2019-05 Enforceable Procurement Provisions (EPP Direction).

All buyers and suppliers using the scheme should familiarise themselves with the updated ICT Services Scheme Rules DOCX, 999Kb.

Supplier transition to the procurement list

All current suppliers on the scheme are deemed to be part of the procurement list. No action is required from suppliers to transition to the list.

Requirements to join the scheme remain the same. These are outlined in clause 9 of the scheme rules.

Complying with the EPP Direction when using the ICT Services Scheme

When procuring ICT-related goods and services over the $680,000 threshold, NSW Government agencies can comply with the EPP Direction by using a prequalified supplier on the ICT Services Scheme.

Limited tendering is allowed under specific circumstances. These are outlined in clause 14 of the scheme rules.
