Supplier onboarding and data management using Eftsure

We’ve introduced a new system for managing supplier data. From 5 September 2022, we’ll verify every supplier through Eftsure.

Eftsure manages supplier onboarding and data management in real time. It uses a secure monitoring system to protect payments against fraud and error.

Required information

Before we do business, we need to ensure that your details are genuine and accurate. We can only use legitimate information to pay you.

Eftsure securely processes the following information:

  • ABN
  • business or trading name
  • company details
  • contact information and addresses
  • company representative details
  • BSB, bank account number and bank account name

Guidance for new suppliers

NSW Government agencies and departments have engaged Eftsure as part of the onboarding process.

You will be asked to provide the required information, along with supporting documents. Documents may include:

  • a signed letter on your company letterhead
  • a valid tax invoice containing supplier name, address, ABN and bank details
  • a copy of a recent bank statement or a bank letter verifying the supplier account details (you can hide transaction information if you want to).

Eftsure will email an invitation to begin the verification process. An Eftsure team member will also call you within 48 hours to verify that your details are correct.

You'll get a confirmation email from Eftsure when they've verified your data.

Guidance for existing suppliers

Existing suppliers don't need to take action, unless your details have changed.

It’s your responsibility to ensure your details are up to date. Please notify us immediately if your details change, or if you notice any errors. You can update your details at any time with your usual NSW Government contact.

We’ll pass on your changes to Eftsure for verification. They’ll email a link to their portal, and follow up with a call. You’ll get an email notification when the process is complete.
