Aboriginal Procurement Policy 2023 Review Report is now available

The Aboriginal Procurement Policy Review Report is now available after extensive stakeholder consultation by NSW Treasury (Treasury).

The APP Review Report provides 17 stakeholder recommendations to better achieve the APP objective of growing NSW’s First Nations Economy.

The NSW Government will consider these recommendations as it develops a new APP that makes it easier for NSW Government and Aboriginal businesses to work together and deliver better outcomes for the Aboriginal community.

Treasury collected more than 2,000 individual pieces of feedback over 11 months. Feedback came from a diverse group of stakeholders who told us about the issues that are important to those who use the policy. Stakeholders included the NSW Coalition of Aboriginal Peak Organisations, Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal businesses, the Aboriginal community, Aboriginal Affairs NSW and NSW Government buyers and procurement teams.
